Crumlin Road Gaol is one of the most striking buildings in Belfast and a highlight stop on the City Sightseeing route. Known locally as "The Crum," this Victorian-era prison housed suffragettes, loyalist and republican prisoners, and ordinary criminals for 150 years.
When you hop off here, you can take a guided or self-guided audio tour. The atmosphere is palpable.
It’s located slightly out of the city center, making the bus the perfect way to get there without navigating public transport maps. The bus stops right outside the massive black gates.
